The Mon’Or story
Champagne we help to pick, import ourselves and love to talk about.
Four generations of winemakers
Champagne Nathalie Assailly is a family estate founded by great-grandfather Emile Mercier. The land was divided with each generation, and today the vineyards inherited from grandfather Lucien and from mother Collette, the first woman winemaker in the family, are tended by Nathalie and her husband Laurent. It is a champagne made by women, from a family with wine in its blood.
It is a small family estate. Nathalie and Laurent look after the vineyards, and in the busiest weeks of the year, when the vines are tied up and the grapes picked, friends and helpers from the area and from abroad lend a hand. We are among them.

Passy-sur-Marne
A small village in the Marne Valley in the heart of Champagne, home to winegrowers since the Middle Ages. Its clay and limestone soils are ideal for Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. At the turn of August and September the vineyards fill with people picking the grapes by hand.
Sustainable winegrowing
The estate is certified Haute Valeur Environnementale (High Environmental Value) and Viticulture Durable en Champagne (Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne). Protecting the soil and nature matters to the family as much as the quality of the wine.
What matters to us
We want people in the Czech Republic to drink honest champagne with a story. These are the four things we do for it.
- 01
Quality we have seen with our own eyes
We go there and pick the grapes ourselves, so we can vouch that only the best of the vineyard goes into the bottles: hand harvesting and small family production.
- 02
Respect for the soil
The estate is certified Haute Valeur Environnementale and Viticulture Durable en Champagne. The family looks after the vineyards so they can hand them on to the next generation.
- 03
A story in every bottle
Every bottle has a real family, a village and the people who brought it here. That is why it comes with a postcard from Champagne and a booklet about champagne.
- 04
A personal approach
We are a small importer, so we can be flexible. We help you choose, train your staff and prepare a tailor-made tasting.

Who brings it to you
For more than seven years we have been travelling to Passy-sur-Marne to help the Assailly family: with the harvest in September and with tying up the vines in June. Every year we come home with unforgettable experiences and the atmosphere of a champagne village. We decided to share them. And nothing keeps them better than champagne we helped to make ourselves.
Our experiences in the vineyards gradually turned into a plan. In 2025 we founded Monor Group s.r.o. and became the exclusive importer of the Nathalie Assailly estate for the Czech Republic. Our goal is simple: honest champagne with a story, enjoyed here at home.
